Terms of Service

What PS UI TOOLKIT does, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. Written to be read: plain language first, legal precision second.

1. Who this agreement is between

These terms are an agreement between you — the person or organisation using the service — and the operator of PS UI TOOLKIT. We identify ourselves publicly by our brand name and a support address: info@psuitoolkit.com.

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are using PS UI TOOLKIT for an employer or a client, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on that party's behalf.

2. What the service does

PS UI TOOLKIT is a web application for building Windows software deployment packages without writing PowerShell. You design a deployment as an ordered task flow in your browser, and the service generates a package you hand to your deployment tool.

  • The generated package is a ZIP file containing generated PowerShell scripts, a manifest describing your flow, our runtime library, and a folder for your own install files.
  • The output is intended for Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Microsoft Intune (Win32) and standalone use.
  • You add the vendor install media (MSI, EXE and similar) to the package yourself. We never host or redistribute third-party installers for you.
  • There is nothing to install on your machines to use the service — no agent, no local component. The package you build, naturally, does run on your machines.

We may add, change or remove features over time. Section 8 explains how we handle changes that materially reduce what your plan gives you.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the service, and you are responsible for what happens under it.

  • Use a real email address you control. You must confirm it before you can sign in.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Passwords must be at least 10 characters and contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a digit.
  • We recommend turning on two-factor authentication (TOTP) in your account settings and storing the recovery codes somewhere safe.
  • After 5 failed sign-in attempts the account locks for 5 minutes. That protects you; it is not a penalty.
  • Write to info@psuitoolkit.com as soon as you suspect someone else has access to your account.

4. Plans, quotas and payment

There are three paid plans — Basic, Pro and Max — listed at $10, $25 and $50 per month. A new account does not start on any of them. It starts on a separate and deliberately limited plan called Basic (Trial), which runs for 7 days.

On the trial plan only two of the catalogue's step types can be used: 'Notify (toast or prompt)' and 'Show notification'. Every other step — installing an MSI or EXE, copying files, writing registry keys, uninstalling software, restarting a machine, running a function, and the rest — is refused, both when you save the flow and when you build the package. (Group headings are unaffected: they organise the flow and do nothing on a machine.) A trial account can produce a package that shows a notification; it cannot produce a package that installs software.

Apart from that restriction the trial matches Basic: the same quotas, the same branding profiles, the same templates. Subscribing to any paid plan lifts it. We would rather you read this here than discover it when a step you need is refused.

  • Each paid plan carries quotas: package builds per month (50 / 250 / unlimited), branding profiles (1 / 5 / unlimited), custom templates (5 / 25 / unlimited) and seats (1 / 3 / 10). The trial carries the Basic figures.
  • Basic also has one step restriction of its own: a restart that shows a window to the user ('Restart notification'). On Basic a restart step has to be silent or forced, and a step marked 'restart after this step' is refused for the same reason unless that restart is suppressed. Restart prompts need Pro or Max, which have no step restrictions at all.
  • Team invitations are not available in the product yet, so today every workspace has a single user. The seat numbers describe the plan, not something you can use right now.
  • The AI assistant is available on Pro and Max only, is switched off by default, and requires you to supply your own AI provider key. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what it sends and where.
  • Prices shown in the app are monthly list prices in US dollars. They are list prices, not something you can pay today: the product has no checkout. When one opens, tax will be calculated there by the seller of record.

Payments are not live. The production configuration carries no payment provider, the API exposes no checkout endpoint and the app has no payment screen, so today no paid plan can be bought, no card is charged and no money has ever been taken. There is therefore no merchant of record yet, and we will not name one before we have chosen it. When paid plans open, the sale will run through a merchant of record — a payment company that is the legal seller for your purchase, issues the invoice and processes refunds — and this section will be updated with its name before the first sale. Your card details would go to that company directly and would never reach us.

Refunds and right of withdrawal

When your trial ends without a subscription, or a subscription lapses, the workspace becomes read-only: you keep access to everything you already made and can still export it, but new packages cannot be built until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked away. Please read that together with the paragraph above: while payments are not live there is no way to subscribe, so a trial that ends today leaves the workspace read-only until paid plans open. We would rather you knew that before you start than find it out on the last day.

5. Acceptable use

PS UI TOOLKIT builds packages that run with administrative rights on Windows machines. That power comes with limits.

  • Only deploy packages to machines you own or are authorised to administer.
  • Do not use the service to build or distribute malware, spyware, unwanted software, or anything designed to damage systems or hide from and disable security software.
  • Respect the licences of the third-party software you package. Having the right to distribute an installer is your responsibility, not ours.
  • Do not attempt to reach another customer's data, bypass workspace isolation, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written agreement.
  • Do not work around rate limits or plan quotas, and do not run automation that degrades the service for others.
  • Do not resell the service itself as your own product. Selling packages you built with it is entirely fine — see section 6.

If you find a security issue, report it to info@psuitoolkit.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue good-faith research that stops at the first sign of access.

6. Who owns what

The packages you build are yours. We claim no ownership of them and take no licence to use them.

Your content — your projects, task flows, manifests, custom templates, company name, uploaded logo and every package you generate — belongs to you. You may use, modify, distribute and sell those packages without restriction, royalty or attribution, commercially and inside customer environments.

The only permission you give us is the operational one we need to run the service: to store your content, process it to build a package, and give the result back to you. We do not use your content to market the service and we do not use it to train any model.

Every generated package embeds our runtime library, which does the actual work on the target machine. You get a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to copy and distribute that runtime as part of packages produced with the service. You may not extract it and ship it on its own, or inside a competing packaging tool.

The service itself — the web application, the generation engine, the source of the runtime library, our name and branding — stays ours. Nothing here transfers it to you.

7. You test what you deploy

This is the most important practical clause in this document, so it is written plainly. A package built with PS UI TOOLKIT does exactly what your task flow tells it to do, on your machines, with administrative rights.

  • It can copy and delete files, write and remove registry keys, install and uninstall applications, stop processes and services, and request or force a restart — because those are steps you chose.
  • We generate the scripting. We do not know your environment, your software, your images or your users.
  • The built-in validator catches common mistakes before you build. It is an assistant, not a guarantee — and if it reports errors you can still choose to build, in which case we record that the package was produced with known errors.

Before you roll a package out to production, test it on a representative machine. Targeting, timing and the decision to deploy are yours.

This does not erase our own responsibility. If the service itself malfunctions — for example it produces a package that does not match the flow you designed — that is on us, and section 10 sets out how far our liability goes.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We do not offer a service level agreement, an uptime guarantee, or 24/7 support. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control.

We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan gives you, we will tell you in advance by email or in-app notice, and you can cancel under section 11 if you would rather not continue.

Your packages do not depend on us to keep working. Once a package is downloaded it runs on your machines whether or not the service is available.

9. Warranties

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular deployment scenario, and we make no claim to any security certification — we hold none.

Nothing here removes rights the law gives you. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under the consumer law of your country of residence — including EU consumer law and, in Türkiye, the Law on the Protection of Consumers — apply in full and cannot be limited by this section.

10. Limitation of liability

So far as the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost data you could have kept a copy of, business interruption, or the cost of remediating a deployment you chose to run.
  • Our total liability for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • If you are on a free trial and have paid nothing, our liability is limited to fixing the fault or ending the agreement.

These limits do not apply to death or personal injury, to fraud, to intent or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you — including mandatory consumer protection rules.

11. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from Account → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, and cancelling does not delete anything.

We can suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms — building malware or attacking the service, for instance. For anything that can be put right, we will contact you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix it.

After the agreement ends, export what you need (see section 6 and the Privacy Policy) and ask us at info@psuitoolkit.com to delete the rest.

12. Changes to these terms

We publish changes on this page and update the date at the top. For material changes we give notice by email or in-app before they take effect.

If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Turkish law and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to the consumer arbitration committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or the consumer courts.
